I enjoyed reading Dance Stance as it has a marvelous way of expressing the concept, speaks in a very personal manner, and adds notes and anecdotes. The drawings are adorable and represent the positions perfectly. It will motivate readers and has relevant advice. The book explains that it takes years for beginners to be able to move gracefully and that, at first, coordination can be difficult. If you are patient with yourself and practice diligently, you will improve every day. Ballet is a great activity that girls can use to practice concentration, coordination, and collaboration. They can even practice at home by following the advice in this wonderful book. Once Upon a Dance inspires children to dance with joy, relax, and enjoy the process.
