The Dalhart Pursuit by Randall Jarmon is an awesome book. Greg Dalhart has written a brilliant software program that can cause amazing changes to the United States by finding any fugitive or missing child. Dalhart has sold this program and he has now become the bad guy that the program is searching for. Greg is forced to run for his life. Jill Brennan, a state police investigator, has been given Greg’s computer and after much research she realizes that Dalhart is guilty of nothing. The two soon meet, quickly fall in love and find themselves on the run. They face almost being killed and together work out a plan to try to clear their names, plus save the software from falling into the wrong hands. It is hard to tell the good guys from the bad because each of the characters has a valid reason for doing what they are doing.
The Dalhart Pursuit will keep you on the edge of your seat as it gets more and more exciting with each turn of the page. Randall Jarmon is brilliant in the development of the plot and the personalities of each character in this mind boggling thriller. Randall Jarmon is very clear in explaining that this book is pure fiction, but if you use just a little imagination the question cannot be ignored – can this happen in real life????? I have not read a book this good in a very long time and highly recommend it to everyone – it has something that will keep you reading till the end (which I never saw coming). I give The Dalhart Pursuit the highest score - judging on a level from 1 to 10, I would say about 100 is about right. Do not miss this one.
